Public Information Branch

Good "grass roots" public relations activities involve regular and frequent publicizing of amateur activities through local news media plus community activities; school programs; presentations to service clubs and community organizations; exhibits and demonstrations; and other efforts which create a positive public image for Amateur Radio.- Amateur Radio Relay League, www.arrl.org

Arkansas Section News

There are several ways you can find amateur radio related news around the Arkansas Section.
  • This web site's home page is where district and state news is posted by Public Information officials.
  • The Arkansas Section Bulletin is a monthly podcast produced by the Public Information branch of the Arkansas Section.  It is available online, in iTunes, and is heard on the AR Links System repeater network.
  • Since many of the amateur radio clubs and organizations in Arkansas have their own web sites we have also created an RSS feed that can be monitored using RSS feed readers like Google Reader.  This bundle of feeds monitors over 20 of the active web sites in Arkansas.
